Create Multiple Sources of Income with Niche Blogging
Here are some steps you can take to creating a viable blogging revenue, by creating multiple consistent income streams via blogging. I haven't posted a detailed "how to" post on Internet Marketing in a while. I have actually been kind of lazy in posting on this blog. Been busy working on my "resell rights" membership site. Anywho... I was getting ready to respond to a post on an Internet Marketing forum, and decided it was better suited as a blog post, since it was in fact about blogging.
The original poster wanted to know "how to create a $100 per day income with adsense" via blogging. While it is possible to do that with blogging, it is a lot more work if you restrict your efforts to just creating an adsense income. It is also quite dangerous. You put yourself at risk when you put all your Internet Marketing Eggs in one basket. This can be a fatal mistake when trying to make money online via blogging.
What you should be doing is creating multiple streams for revenue on your blog. If you don't, then what happens if your blog suffers a loss in traffic due to a Google PR adjustment? Or they ban your adsense account for whatever reason? It doesn't matter if its your fault or not. That is beside the point. Where is your income then?
Create other streams of revenue by promoting products on publisher networks like ClickBank, PayDotCom, etc. In addition create your own products, or outsource the creation of products via elance or a similar service or by purchasing MRR (master resell rights) or PLR (private label rights) products. Make certain you aren't using the sales copy that comes with these products so your sales copy is unique. Or at the very least use "internet marketing pre-sell" strategies. That basically means review the product or give some of your own insight into the quality of the product so the visitor isn't bombarded with a sales page. This will warm them up to the possibility of purchasing the product you are selling.
Once you create these multiple options for converting a visitor into a customer it will be a lot easier to hit that $100 per day mark. Some other techniques you might want to employ are posting consistently with useful content... (it doesn't always have to be unique, but it does have to be useful) to create return visitors. You will want to add a squeeze page to your site so you can get their email address to send promotions to customers in a 4:1 ratio. Send 4 informational only emails, and then 1 promotion. Wash, rinse, repeat.
It is very importnat to utilize the tools that are available on the web to track your effectiveness on converting traffic. Some of which include ClickTale, Google Analytics, Clickbank Analytics, Adsense Tracking, etc. Beyond tracking you will need to do outside marketing to drive traffic to your site to keep increasing revenue. Some of the best tactics are Article Marketing, Forum Marketing, Traffic Exchange Marketing, Banner Advertising, Viral Marketing, Video Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Podcasting, etc., etc. Each of these sources may only be sending 1 or 2 visitors per day, but when you start getting 1 to 2 visitors per day in 100's of places you will start getting consistent quality traffic which will convert into clicks and sales.
